PLTW students visited Worthington Steel for an engaging, hands-on learning experience that brought their classroom knowledge to life. During the visit, students participated in an interactive activity and toured the facility, gaining firsthand insight into the manufacturing of customized steel solutions. The tour highlighted key processes such as steel processing, cutting and slitting, as well as the company’s role in serving industries like automotive and energy industries. This experience provided students with a practical understanding of modern manufacturing and the diverse applications of steel in the modern day industry.
